Grammar is key to clear and concise communication, and there is nothing dull about it! This interactive grammar and style workshop will help students to master the rules and conventions that underpin language and efficient communication. In this workshop the basics of grammar including parts of speech, sentence structure, punctuation, and common grammatical errors will be reviewed. Students will learn how to improve their style by using precise language, eliminating wordiness, and editing for conciseness, clarity, and fluency. Workshop objectives: This grammar and style workshop aims to give students a thorough, practical understanding of grammar and punctuation that can be applied to avoid the pitfalls of incorrect usage, convey ideas clearly and enrich their style. This workshop is suitable as preparation for the ERAMUS programme or similar study placement abroad. The workhsop is aligned with levels B2 ´Independent User – Vantage´ and C1 or ´Proficient User – Advanced´ of the CEFR or GeRS.
